When does Woot! post new deals?

Woot! posts most of its new deals at midnight Central time, every day. That's 1 a.m. Eastern, 11 p.m. Mountain, and 10 p.m. Pacific. Most deals also end at that time, so midnight Central is when the day's lineup changes over.

Mountain, the night before

Pacific, the night before

Woot! is based in Texas and has kept that schedule since its "one day, one deal" start in 2004. The clock follows Central time all year, including daylight saving time, so the conversions above hold year-round.

What we see in the data

BetterWoot downloads Woot!'s full list of live deals every 20 minutes. Here's what the list looked like on a Tuesday in October 2026:

Live Woot! deals by the hour they started, Central time, on one day in October 2026.
  • Somewhere between 600 and 1,700 new deals a day went up over the previous week, and that only counts the ones still listed.
  • Most deals run a week or two: about half were set to run 8 to 14 days, and about 3,000 ran 4 to 7 days.
  • About 200 deals run for a single day. These include the featured deals on Woot!'s home page, which start and end at midnight Central.

Deals that start during the day

Not everything waits for midnight. On the same day, roughly 1,500 live deals had started at 9 or 10 a.m. Central (10 or 11 a.m. Eastern), and smaller batches started in the afternoon. If you only check at midnight, you'll miss these. Sort BetterWoot Search by Newest first to see whatever went up most recently, whenever you look.

Woot-Offs run on their own clock

A Woot-Off is Woot!'s rapid-fire sale: as soon as one deal sells out, the next one appears. Woot-Offs aren't announced ahead of time (though Woot!'s app can alert you when one starts), and recent ones have run during the day, Central time:

  • July 23, 2026: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (the birthday Woot-Off)
  • June 4, 2026: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (a Mini Woot-Off)
  • June 12, 2025: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Woot-Offs are where the famous Bag of Crap has traditionally shown up, so they're worth watching for. While one is running, BetterWoot Search can show just the Woot-Off deals.

How to catch the good ones

  1. Check after midnight Central for the day's new lineup, or first thing in the morning if that's past your bedtime.
  2. Check again late morning for the daytime batch.
  3. Use Ending soon to see what's about to disappear: sort by Ending soon, in stock only.
